Key Opinion Leader- Ultherapy
Dr Stephen Lowe is internationally recognised as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Ultherapy, reflecting a level of clinical expertise and contribution that extends well beyond everyday practice.
In 2021, he was invited to join the Ultherapy Global Task Force—a highly selective group of physicians, surgeons, and scientists entrusted with guiding the future direction of Ultherapy. This group has played a central role in shaping treatment protocols, safety frameworks, and technological advancements, including the development of Ultherapy PRIME.
As part of this select international group, Dr Lowe is among a small number of clinicians globally involved in both the clinical application and ongoing evolution of micro-focused ultrasound technology.
Based in Sydney, he applies this expertise in clinical practice, offering Ultherapy treatments that are grounded in evidence, anatomy, and long-term skin health.
With formal training in both public health and aesthetic medicine (MPH, MSc Aesthetic Medicine), Dr Lowe approaches Ultherapy through a rigorous clinical lens. His work has contributed to a deeper understanding of how ultrasound energy interacts with the skin’s structural layers—supporting collagen stimulation, improving firmness, and enhancing skin integrity over time.
Dr Lowe is regularly invited to speak at international conferences and educational forums, and has contributed to a range of publications on Ultherapy, where he presents on techniques, clinical outcomes, and emerging research. These invitations reflect peer recognition of his expertise and his role in advancing best practice within the field. He has also discussed Ultherapy in external media, including podcast interviews on micro-focused ultrasound and treatment planning.
As an educator, he is actively involved in training doctors, nurses, and dermal clinicians across Australia and internationally. His teaching focuses on precision, patient selection, and treatment planning—ensuring outcomes are consistent, appropriate, and grounded in clinical reasoning rather than trend-driven approaches.
For patients, this translates into a more considered and individualised experience of Ultherapy. Treatment decisions are made within the context of overall facial harmony, skin quality, and long-term outcomes—rather than isolated or short-term change.
Ultherapy treatments are performed at Muse Clinic in Sydney, where Dr Stephen Lowe applies these globally recognised protocols in clinical practice.
